Freestyle Friday: Changes Are Coming!

Good morning! Let’s get going.

Wedding photos were once printed on Kodak paper.
Wedding photos were once printed on Kodak paper.

Leah and I celebrated 15 years of wedded bliss yesterday. We’re headed to Charleston, sans kiddos, this weekend for a little getaway. Which means that I’ll work today the way my employer wishes that I would work every day. Does anyone else just hammer through your to-do list on the day before a vacation so that you have less work waiting for you when you come back to work?

I spent way too much time taking the photograph of the wedding photograph so that I could post it to today’s post, and I’m almost out of time. I did want to let you guys know that I have plans to update this site soon. I know that Todd has trouble commenting, which really does frustrate me because I enjoy the feedback. The theme that I’m using also displays content differently on iPhones, iPads, and desktop computers. It even displays differently on desktops if you don’t have our browser window maximized. The responsiveness, that ability to adjust to how you’re viewing the site based on the device you are using, is what I want, but the current theme – which is a free – falls a little short in the actual presentation.

So, if all goes well, I’ll be converting to the Get Noticed! Theme for WordPress developed by Michael Hyatt and Andrew Buckman.  Super slick visually that adjusts to ‘fit’ your device. It also makes it easier for you to comment on a post and to share the post on social media. So look for that update in the next couple of weeks.

Y’all have a great day. Work like you’re going on vacation next week, even if you’re not. It’ll make Monday a little easier, I promise!

Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll have the definitive shrimp & grits review next week!

  1. Wow, great customer support Jammy… now I will feel tremendous pressure to comment. It was working OK too when I would just tell you my comments in person… but that’s so old school.
